Clermont County announces changes due to COVID-19
Gov. Mike DeWine has mandated business with JFS during the Covid-19 pandemic be conducted via phone, email, USPS or fax. If you are calling for a SNAP recertification appointment for the months of March, April or May your benefits will be automatically extended for six months. You will receive a notice of your benefits being extended. If your benefits expired March 31, 2020 because you didn’t complete your recertification appointment your benefit will be automatically reopened for six months. If you received a notification for a recertification appointment for the month of April please disregard. Your SNAP benefits will be extended for six months during this state of emergency for the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have closed the front desk to the public. The agency itself is not closing and will continue to run. At this time we are asking that you make contact with the agency via phone, fax, email, or USPS. Our dropbox remains accessible 24 hrs/day and all documents will be processed. You may fax a document to 513-732-7216 and email documents to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our mailing address is 2400 Clermont Center Drive, Batavia, OH 45103. Our lobby will remain unlocked 8-4:30 so that you may access hard copy forms. If you wish to apply by phone for SNAP/CASH/Medical assistance you may call 1-844-640-6446 between 8am to 4pm, you may also apply online at benefits.ohio.gov.

The Clermont County Department of Job and Family Services (CCDJFS) is a triple combined agency that provides a broad range of services to the Clermont community including Child Support, Children’s Protective Services, Medicaid, Food Stamps, Ohio Works First, Workforce Investment Act and other programs.
The CCDJFS is a county, state, and federally supported agency responsible for basic financial, medical and social services to ensure that the basic needs of Clermont County citizens are met.

** We are located in the Clermont Family Support Center complex on Clermont Center Drive just off of Bauer Road in the Batavia area. Core hours of operation are 8:00 AM through 4:30 PM Monday through Friday with extended hours from 6:30 through 5:30 available by appointment. **
